Angie Williamson, Executive Director

Since 2016 Angie has been the Executive Director of Jumpstart Germantown & Jumpstart Philly. Before joining Jumpstart Angie was the Executive Director of the Mt. Airy BID and previously served as Economic Development Director for New Kensington CDC. Prior to moving to Philadelphia 14 years ago Angie worked as a City Planner in Roanoke, VA.  A proud graduate of Mary Washington College, Angie went on to receive a Masters in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. Angie is passionate about working with new developers who want to make a positive change in their neighborhoods.  

Aspiring to live a minimalist life, Angie resides in a 650 square foot apartment with 2 other humans and 2 old, grumpy dogs. Angie is a proud parent of a Philadelphia public middle school student - Go J.S. Jenks!  In the last 2 years Angie has become a big fan of the Eurovision Song Contest and encourages everyone to give it a chance (yes it’s cheesy, it’s supposed to be).
